Terms of Use

These Terms govern your use of ijcaofficial.com (the "Site"), operated by IJCA Limited, a company limited by guarantee being incorporated in Hong Kong ("IJCA", "we", "us").

1. Who we are

IJCA — the International Jump Rope Certification Authority — publishes a shared standard for jump rope ability (ten levels in four tiers) and certifies jumpers against it, together with its founding partners in Korea, China and Hong Kong and accredited test centers.

2. Accounts

  1. You may browse most of the Site without an account. Some features — linking your certificates, "My certificates" and printing — require one.
  2. You must give accurate information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
  3. Children. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must create or approve the account and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
  4. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

3. Certificates

  1. Certificates are issued by IJCA after an accredited test center registers a candidate's result and IJCA approves it. Issuance and revocation follow the Certification & Examination Rules.
  2. A certificate confirms the level shown on the date of the test. It is a private certification of jump rope ability, not a government qualification. Recognition by other organisations is their own decision.
  3. Anyone can check a certificate on the Site using its number and the holder's full name, or its QR code. The information shown is limited to what the Privacy Policy describes.
  4. You may link a certificate to your account only if it is yours, or you are the holder's parent or guardian.
  5. Do not alter, forge or misrepresent certificates, their numbers or QR codes. We may revoke certificates obtained or used dishonestly.

4. Acceptable use

You must not interfere with the Site's security or operation, scrape or bulk-query certificate data (lookups are rate-limited), upload unlawful content, impersonate others, or use the Site to harass anyone.

5. Content and trademarks

The IJCA name, logo, certificate designs, level system materials and videos belong to IJCA or its licensors. You may share links and view content for personal, non-commercial use. Test centers and partners may use IJCA marks only as agreed in writing.

6. Third-party services

The Site may link to or embed third-party services, such as video platforms and map apps. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is". We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Jump rope training carries a risk of injury — follow a qualified coach's guidance.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, IJCA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Site; continued use after the effective date means you accept them.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
